LDO POWER IC WITH 24.5V INPUT AND OUTPUT IS 24V @1A.

  • Hi Aswathy,

Sorry for the late reply, but it seems like you would not get a 24V @ 1A out with this configuration. Because you've grounded the 6P4V1 pin to ground, you have modified the Vref signal to be 7.8V instead of the 1.4V natural value. Because of this, your feedback network on the output would be trying to drive Vout to ~134V which it cannot do with a 24.5V input. Instead it is maxing out the output voltage instead of regulating to the 24V that you desire. To fix this problem you need to leave the 6P4V1 pin floating like you have done with the other any-out pins. Additionally you could theoretically reconfigure your feedback network to still regulate at 24Vout, but I recommended to instead just float the 6P4V1 pin like you have with the others.

    Hope this helps,

    Regards,

    John Schneider
