Kindly let me know the connection details which are following correct or Wrong??

Connection Details:

We have connected AFE and Gauge(Part Number BQ78350) are in cascade with 20-series battery pack.

Fault Detection details are mentioned below,

1. If we connect 20 series battery pack to device, there is a leakage in upper side connected batteries and Upper AFE (Part Number BQ76930) is getting damage.

Hi Desai,

We recommend following this TI Reference Design for a 20S application: https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-01093 This link includes the schematic and layout along with documentation describing many of the circuits used.

I have not see anyone cascade the BQ78350, but this presents some challenges. The BQ78350 needs to measure current to do gauging, but only the bottom BQ76930 device will be able to measure current in the configuration used in the reference design. Cell balancing would also be a challenge since the top and bottom devices will behave independently.
