BQ25703A: Cutting current while input source is present

Hi,
I am using 18650 single cell battery and 12V input in my system. After the system works in the field for a while (1-2 days or 7-8 hours), it stops drawing current from the 12v input adapter. And it continues to run on battery and turns off when the battery runs out. When I power off my adapter and turn it back on, both the system works and the battery charges normally. And it keeps repeating like this.


Anyone experiencing this situation? What could be the reason for this or how should I improve FW or HW to avoid this situation?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Did you read any fault conditions in the registers when this occurred?

    Recommend to check the register list for any fault conditions.
