UCC27201: UCC27201 HB-HS spec - typo or real improvement?

Hello Team,

I have a question on HB-HS max raings of UCC27201 and UCC27201A.

I checked from other e2e thread that the only difference between UCC27201 and UCC27201A is the HS spec from -5Vmin to -18Vmin.

But there's one more difference, HB-HS spec, from 20Vmax to 120Vmax.

Could you confirm if it's just a typo or if UCC27201A has a completely different internal driving circuitry?

Hello Ella,

Thank you for the interest in the UCC27201 and A version. The 1st spec change you mention of HS spec min of -5V to -18V is an improvement of the A version device. The other spec you mention of HB-HS of 120V is an error, and should be 20V as the UCC27201.

Please confirm if this addresses your questions.

Thanks Richard for the confirmation. As it's obviously a typo, could you also let me know if we have plan for datasheet revision. If so, let me know the schedule as well.

Hello Ella,

I can submit the change request for the datasheet text error change, but be confident the spec of HB-HS should be the same as the UCC27201. The datasheet updates take some time and I don't have direct control over the implementation of the corrections timeframe.
