Hi Team,
I am looking for a replacement for MAX20052.
Vin = 5...24V
Vout ~ 5V
Iout ~ 300mA

Hello Stefan,
Thank you for reaching out. We have a couple of devices that could be a good match depending on the more detailed technical specs of the project, but the TPS92520-Q1 device is a dual-channel 1.6A synchronous buck that has analog dimming in an 8.1x11mm package. I have linked to the datasheet here. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards,
Caroline
Thank you Caroline!
MAX20052 has a package size of 3.1x3.1mm.
Could you please also recommend something in that range?
Thank you!
Hi Stefan,
Our TPS92515 device and our LM3409 device both have package sizes that are 3x3mm. The TPS92515 is a monolithic, single-channel buck with analog dimming, but is not synchronous. The LM3409 device is a single-channel buck controller that is also not synchronous, but it can handle currents up to 5A.
I would like to point out that the TPS92520-Q1 is dual-channel so, although it is larger than the 3.1x3.1mm, when considering the fact that you would need 2 Maxim devices for each TPS92520-Q1, the size difference is significantly smaller.
Best Regards,
Caroline
