TPS62088: Transient Response Question

Part Number: TPS62088

On the TPS62088 datasheet, figure 23 shows the transient response of the IC. The response I am witnessing is a bit different. The conditions I am working with are a little different from those specified on the data sheet as well. Vin = 5V, Vout = 3.3V. I have attached some scope captures of the transient response I am seeing. Yellow is Vin, 5V. Green is Vout, 3.3V. Pink is Iload. My Vin looks more similar to your Vout. Just curious if something is abnormal here with these measurements. An electronic load was used to provide the transient response.

Thanks,
Ryan S.

  • Hi,

I do not see any abnormality in the measurements. I could only spot the difference in the time scale used.

The graphs could be slightly different (depending on the test conditions, hardware used, sample taken, etc ). What is important is to have a similar behavior like the typical one shown in the d/s.
