I found that the voltage of Cell 5 will rise when the software GUI is used to balance Cell 6 and the voltage is reduced! Is there any need for them to look at which part of the code?

Hi Kevin,
Can you capture what you are seeing on an oscilloscope? The voltage of the adjacent cell should be affected during balancing. You can see some example waveforms in this document: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sluaa81/sluaa81.pdf
Or are you seeing wrong voltages reported by the BQ76940 voltage ADC readings? This could be due to settling time if you have very large input resistors and capacitors resulting in a large RC time constant.
Best regards,
Matt
