TPS53515: Snubber circuit for SW pin

Part Number: TPS53515

Dear Support team,

We could find C1 470pF and R3 3ohm between SW and PGND in Figure 43 of Datasheet P23.

And datasheet describes it as the recommendation placing a snubber.

Are there any case for adjusting the snubber circuit parts?

How should we adjust them in that case?

If snubber circuit will be removed from SW pin,  are there any problem for the performance or any critical damages?

Best Regards,

Hirokazu Takahashi

  • TI recommends placing a snubber between the SW shape and GND shape for effective ringing reduction. The value of snubber design starts at 3 Ω + 470 pF.

The absolute maximum voltage rating of the VIN and SW are
