Hello there,

Is there a non-programmed version of TPS65916? If not, can factory pre-programmed version be re-programmed to match custom power sequence?

I ask this because we are looking for alternate PMIC for one of i.MX6 quad platform, any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi Ibram,

Thanks for the question. The OTP on the TPS65916 cannot be reprogrammed. I have alerted an engineer who may be able to provide some insight on alternatives.

Hi Ibram,

The TPS65911 has a variant (TPS659114A2NMAR) which was released for powering i.MX6 Quad. App note on usage with i.MX6 Quad: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/swcu181

As Daniel noted, TPS65916 is not re-programmable and we don't to my knowledge have an existing spin targeting i.MX6 Quad.

Yes, We looked at TPS659114A2NMAR before but this part is not available in stock. If you can arrange this part, we can use this.

Unfortunately, this device does currently have long lead times.

Another option that may work would be powering using discrete devices as outlined in this reference design:
