I have received a unit with a broken 11V rail. It is using the LM22680 and regulating 12V down to 11V. Initially, the 11V output was reading 2.5V. There are no issues with the current draw across the board, and it seems as though the problem is with the regulator itself. I replaced the regulator, and now the output of the regulator is ~9.7V. The 12V rail (vrail on image below) is reading at 11.91V. The most important issue, however, is that the output is a clean sawtooth wave with its peaks at 11V. It is clear that the part is trying to switch, but I can't quite isolate the problem. This exact circuit has been used on multiple iterations of boards and has had no issues.
I looked at TI Webench, and according to the inputs, there is no possible design to 11V 2A out of the regulator with a 12V input. I'm curious what your thoughts are and whether this is an issue with the design itself or an issue just with the individual board.
