Hello,
My customer is looking for a combine solution for about 200W high power PoE.
Is there a solution that can combine two PoE inputs to make an output close to about 200W?
If yes, please introduce a reference design or devices.
Thank you.

Hello JH,
The following application note describes how to get more power than the IEEE802.3.bt standard: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva986/slva986.pdf?ts=1626281896862&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F
Note this design has only been tested up to 120W.
I think the main issue with 200W solutions would be the Data transformer, which separates the data from the power. The highest I have seen is 150W.
The other obvious issue here is that this is way beyond any PoE standard. IEEE802.3.bt stops at 90W (assuming we have short cables that do not have any loss). So the design will not be compliant. This is why we need two PD's together to handle the power.

Hey JH,
Just another thought, you could use multiple DCDC's in parallel to power the same load. But it would take multiple RJ45 input ports, if the customer is able to do that.
