TL494: MIN value of input Vth(FEEDBACK)

Hello,

My customer is asking MIN value of “input threshold voltage(FEEDBACK)”. Is it available?

Also is any data about temperature drift characteristic of this value available?

    Hi,

    The block diagram on page 10 of the datasheet shows when FEEDBACK pin exceeding the PWM comparator inverting pin, the duty becomes zero. Section 9.3.2 on page 11 shows when CT reaches 3V, then discharge starts. There is an offset 0.7V between CT and the PWM comparator inverting pin. So the min FEDBACK voltage is about 3.7V depending on the tolerance of offset 0.7V and CT 3V discharging threshold. There is no test to characterize these for min values for each so only based on the design but characterize them for typical and max.
