LM74500-Q1: MOSFET selection recommendations?

Hello,

I am currently designing a driver monitoring system utilizing LM74500-Q1 as an ideal diode to provide protection to a PMIC. In the datasheet for LM74500-Q1 there is an outline of what sort of specifications are to be used when selecting a MOSFET. My question is, does your team already have a list of recommended or previously confirmed FETs that could be used? I will include my specifications here below:

Voltage rating >= 60V

1.8A minimum

Nominal Power = 18W

VGS >= 15V

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Taylor,

    The Mosfet selection procedure is described in detail in the datasheet section, '9.3.1.2.2 MOSFET Selection'. Any Mosfet chosen as per these guidelines should work. As such we do not have a list of recommended FETs. 

    In the LM74500Q1EVM, we have used the DMT6007LFG-13 FET. You can refer to the EVM user guide.
