BQ76PL455A-Q1: Can COMML+/COMML- leave unconnected?

Hi Team,

The datasheet Figure 36 shows the following and it seems to leave unconnected for COMML+/COMML-.

On the other hand, Figure 14 of SLUA791A shows the following and there are pull-up/pull-down for COMML+/COMML-.
Which is correct?

  • Hi K.

Technically, the COMML pins could be  left floating and  disabled in  software. However, best  practice is to include  the pull up/pull down and disable in S/W if not used.

So both are technically correct, but following the design consideration document is preferred

    Regards,
