We use BQ25890 as our charger IC.
In previous, we didn't connect dp/dm to usb connector, just short them at BQ25890's side.
But when we use some tablet, it not support large current charging and then cut off the VBUS. so we cannot work in USB mode normally.
So, we made some changes.
I connect BQ25890's Dp/Dm directly on connector's dp/dm. They are also connect to cypress's USB PHY.
Found some weird phenomenons, please help to comment.
In Fig. "off_plug.jpg" Our device is in off stage, I plug in adaptor, then power on . power off ,power on, power off
In Fig. "on_plug.jpg" Our device is in on stage, I plug in adaptor, then power off . power on ,power off, power on
My question is, why the results(charging current) are not always the same. Is there something that I missed?
I didn't give any sw command to the chip.
