TPS61500: TPS61500 maximum output current

Before answering your question, I'd like to know why you choose tps61500. In my opinion, it seems a little over-spec. Device such as tps92360 is also OK.

Do you have some special requirements like output current and so on?

Customer requirements: VIN minimum voltage 2.5V (or slightly higher voltage), constant current 1% dimming DC-DC scheme, output ≥ 5W。

Can tps92360 do it?

Hi Kevin,

TPS61500 supports 2.9V or above input voltage. TPS92360 can't accept 2.5V either. So why does customer need such low input? Would you mind introducing the application simply?  Then I'll see if we have any other solutions. Thanks!

The minimum input voltage can be omitted first, and now the focus is on 1% dimming accuracy and

IN 3V  OUT 8.5V  maximum output current？
