Before answering your question, I'd like to know why you choose tps61500. In my opinion, it seems a little over-spec. Device such as tps92360 is also OK.
Do you have some special requirements like output current and so on?
TPS61500 supports 2.9V or above input voltage. TPS92360 can't accept 2.5V either. So why does customer need such low input? Would you mind introducing the application simply? Then I'll see if we have any other solutions. Thanks!
I believe both TPS61500 and TPS92360 can achieve this. Supposing the efficiency is 100%, for TPS61500, the maximum output current is 1.05A@min, for TPS92360, it's 0.424A@min.
