BQ76952: SPI Daisy Chain - BQ76952

Hi team,

We are using BQ76952 part for one of our design. We are planning to monitor 24 cells using two BQ76952 parts.

Can we do SPI daisy chain for achieving the target? If yes, how can we do it?

    Hi Sushma,

    We don't suggest daisy chain for the BQ76952.  When using the 2 BQ76952 for 24 series cells at least one part must communicate through a level translator due to the different reference voltage of the parts.  You may be able to share the SCL and MOSI signals with separate CS and MISO signals for the one device and translator.
