UCC5870-Q1: ASC enable and SPI usage

Hi team,

When using UCC5870-Q1, need to double check with you:

1.If the SPI of the MCU has no signal or the signal is wrong, will the UCC5870 automatically enter ASC mod?

2. Is there a situation where SPI and enable pin preempted ASC?

    Hi Gene, 

    Thanks a lot for reaching out. Below are my comments: 

    1) UCC5870 needs ASC enable voltage and ASC signal from MCU to enter ASC mode. It could not enter ASC mode automatically. 

    2) I am not exactly sure about what do you mean by "SPI and enable pin preempted ASC". Could you elaborate your question? Thanks.
