TPS51396A: TPS51396RJER Mode setting

Dear Sir or Madam,

May I know what is voltage range setting for ECO & OOA mode for TPS51396RJER ?

(If I am not able to follow the resistor value given in the datasheet)

Customer might use back TPS568230 when the stock is available.

Since both TPS568230 & TPS51396RJER are pin to pin compatible,

customer want to fix the mode resistors value to cater for both chipsets.

Hi Lee,

Actually, TPS51396, TPS51396A and TPS568230 used the same mode voltage range. But TPS51396 cannot support higher frequency, such as 800kHz and 1MHz.

For example, if TPS51396 mode setting are RM_H=330K and RM_L=15K, the mode is Eco mode with 800KHz. But we can't guarantee TPS51396 work normally.

Datasheet didn't mention on the voltage range of mode setting.

If not I cannot set the mode appropriately.
