Hello TI experts,

my customer drew first schematic for their new product. could you review this schematic?

1. the value of R231 is 68K, so charging current is about 600mA.

2. is it okay to set R233 to 200K for 4.1V battery charging? cause it is recommended to float VSET pin.

3. and please review the others of this schematic.

VBUS capacitance is recommended 2.2uF. REGN cap should be 2.2uF. No, if you want the required battery voltage, then you have to follow the required VSET connection as there is internal logic that selects based off of impedance sensed at the VSET. It is part of the VSET detection routing during start up of the converter. If anything floating VSET is desirable as it cuts down on 1 extra component.
