BQ24032A - Evaluation Board Schematic Question

I would like to understand why C7, a 0.22uF capacitor, is located on the schematic of the eval board for charging currents below 0.3A, but no reference of this is made anywhere else in the documentation. What is the purpose of this capacitor across Vbat and Rset?
