Customer can handle the 0x2F by BQ-studio successfully. it occurred a fault when he handled 0x2F by MCU through I2C，But it‘s ok handle other registers through I2C. SHA-1 Authentication of BQ40Z50 can be handled by I2C? or just SMBUS, Please help to answer, Thanks!

Thanks your support. Customer used C6748 communicate with BQ40Z50-R2. C6748 just includes I2C, but they used the SMBUS data frame to transfer data, and it's successful to access other register. so I think there is a problem with the steps handling 0X2F of BQ40Z50-R2. Can you show me the right process for handling 0X2F?

Hello Harry,

Can you capture the logic analyzer images of the two communications methods (EV2400 and MCU), that should let you see if there's a discrepancy with the way you're communicating.

Thanks for you guys supports. this issue has been closed. you are right! the problem is the discrepancy with the way they are using. The authentication successed after keep the same data sequence as EVM2400. Thanks again!
