Dear Sir/Madam,

Can I check the following:

It is a known problem when accessing to BQ40Z50(slave)  1 byte register through SMBUS, if perform a SMBUS READ with only 2 BYTES READ, the PEC will not appear in the 2th byte. The HOST MUST initiate a 3 BYTES SMBUS READ sequence only then the PEC will be visible in the 3th byte, is this issue appear in the BQ78350 as well?

    Hi KPK,

    I do not think this behavior is the same on the BQ78350 - I have not heard of this before from any customers and I have not observed this when I have captured SMBus reads on my logic analyzer.
