I hope I posted this in the correct forum!!
Were trying to design a charging station for an aircraft. Each passenger would be able to charge their electronics using this station were creating.
There is no uC, just trying to use the part as a switch. We need to be able to charge an ipad so we need at least 2 amps of power, and need to be able to current limit for USB specs. We were going with the TPS2552 but it turned out we need 2A for an ipad and we need to bump up.
Were also thinking of using the TPS2560. It seems a bit simpler and maybe a better part for us in the long run.
Are there any better alternatives?
