TPS54302: Minimum Duty Cycle

Dear team

From customer's spec: Vin=18V,Vo=0.8V

But the Vo can achieve 0.8V.

Is the reason for the minimum on time?

For Fsw=400khz. tmin=110ns, the minimum duty cycle is 4.4%, but when Vo=0.8V, Vin=18V which need 4.4%.

    Hi Denny,

    For the min duty support, suggest to consider the worst case Duty=110  ns* Max Freq 510 Khz = 5.6% . 

    For 18Vin-0.8Vout , 2/3A solution , suggest to choose TPS56339 (24Vin 3A SOT236) or TPS563211 (18Vin,3A, SOT583) ,TPS562211 (18Vin ,2A,SOT583)
