TPS2663: UVLO calculation for devices without an OVP Pin

Hello

It looks like both the datasheet and the design calculator for the TPS2663X assumes an OVP pin.

But devices without the OVP pin (with a PLIM pin instead) will not use three resistors in the string.

How do I calculate the UVLO for devices without an OVP pin?

    Hi Lars,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Assuming now you have only R1 & R1 ladder at UVLO pin. 

    V(UVLOR) = 1.2V = V(UV) * R2 / (R1+R2) 

    where V(UV) is the target VIN UVLO threshold. 

    Now you choose R1 as 470kOhm and calculate R2
