CSD97394Q4M: Substitue part of CSD97394Q4M or restocking plan? Also the bootstrap external component value suggestion

Part Number: CSD97394Q4M
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD97376Q4M

Hi

Our current 24V motor control board design uses CSD97394Q4M as a half-bridge for dc brushed motor control due to the integrated driver and its PCB size advantage.

Each dc brushed motor uses 2x CSD97394Q4M to form an H-bridge and control both synchronous buck with complementary 3.3V PWM signals.

But currently when I'm looking at the distributors including ordering on TI.

Is there any plan on restocking this part soon or is there any similar spec & function part I can refer to?

Also, another question to the bootstrap pins -

1. Is there a min-max value on the bootstrap capacitor? In the current design, this bootstrap capacitor is using a 4.7uF which I do not know the history. I am reviewing the design and want to check this by testing. But I'd also like to understand from the IC designer's point of view on the capacitor value instalment.

2. Does the optional bootstrap resistor have a power rating requirement for the resistance value to be 1R ~ 4.7R?

Looking forward to your reply,

Bertram
