if we try to import the 3rd party PSPICE Model (Viper222) of ST.com in PSPICE for TI we get the attached error messages. attaches you will find the simulated circuit performed by from eDesignSuite from ST.com.the import of 3rd party model ( training.ti.com/pspice-ti-3rd-party-model-import) performed by your example was ok. we have done the import and simulation in the ORCAD-capture software and it works very well.
Question(s)
- what are the differences between ORCAD capture and PSPICE for TI ?
- the pspice modell of viper222 ( see attachment )is encrypted. Can a encrypted Pspice model used in PSpice for TI also ?
- do you have a idea ( proposal ) to solve the problem ?
Details see attached files. ( en.VIPer222_pspice.zip PSPICE model files, AC-DC-converter.rar PSPICE for TI project file etc )
