Hi,
Thanks for your support.
Our application of BQ24773
Input voltage: 18.5V
Battery voltage: 14.0V
We found a problem of unable to perform charging normally when charge current increase from low to high. (2.0A or higher)
Below are the Oscilloscope signals when happen unable to perform charge problem.
The ACOK signal will be ON and OFF in cycles.
We also check the buck switching waveform, we found the duty cycle at the moment was reaching approximate up to 95%.
Is it because of the duty cycle hit to certain limit then shut down?
May I know the maximum duty cycle limit for BQ24773 buck charger?
Another way that we can improve this condition was by increasing the input voltage. It will work normally if increase the voltage up to certain range.
Is there any relationship with the charger feedback problem?
Could you give us some advice?
I can provide the schematic for the charger portion through email.
Thanks!
