Hello,
The main difference in the above calculations is that the excel document uses a thermally compensated RDS(on) value of 1.6mohm in its calculation of the current limit. I would use the excel tool as the more authoritative source in your design.
Please see the attached segment in section 8.2.1.1 for a design example where the thermally compensated RDS(on) value is employed:
