Hi,
Is this part susceptible to latchup?
Is the part of bipolar technology?
are you aware of any radiation data (total dose, SEE)?
Hi Munir,
Latch-up tests are not something that we typically specify in our datasheets. But during the development phase we do test our devices according to the JESD78 latch-up standards to make sure we don't have any such failures. TPS82085 is not a radiation hardened device and no radiation tests have been done on it.
Best regards,
Varun
Hi Varun,
That is incorrect. Many data sheets specify electrical latchup and some have even latchup threshold in space and total dose.

Hi Munir,
Thanks for getting back. Yes you are right, TI does offer a lot of devices for space applications, where latch-up thresholds from radiation could be spec'd. My comment in the earlier post was related to TPS82085 (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps82085.pdf?ts=1628053388100&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FTPS82085) and similar devices that don't have any special protection to radiation.
Best regards,
Varun
