Hello, TI support team
Based on Datasheet page1 "4 Typical Boost LED Driver".
When RCS (LED current sense resistor) is placed on the low side of LED, Please tell me about driving the gate of QDIM(Pch FET).
In my design
Due to the large number of LEDs, the output voltage(voltage between LED+ and LED-) exceeds 65V(rationg of CSP and CSN pin).
I moved the RCS to the low side of the LED to avoid overrating.
However, doing so causes problems with QDIM gate drive.
Since PDRV has a CSP voltage of -7V, QDIM's VGS becomes too large.
It will be about the voltage between LED + and LED-.
QDIM exceeds VGS rating.
When RCS is placed on the low side
Please tell me the appropriate drive circuit of QDIM
Best regards, Taku
