TPS2051B: Position of current detection in internal circuit

Hello,

I am using TPS2051B.
Another similar device, TPS20xxC, has a different current detection position when looking at the internal circuit.
The TPS2051B detects current on the OUT side of the FET.
What is the difference in this position?
What is the impact?

    Hi Kaji,

    From design perspective, sense position close to Vin may be easier to be influenced by input noise. For those two devices current limit, please refer to EC table in datasheet. We guaranteed that limit current will be in min to max range in EC table.
