I don't know whether you want to calculate the power of the device or the working temperature. The power is easy to get from the total Output current and the supply voltage. And you can refer to the thermal information from the datasheet to get the working temperature.

Yes I would like to know the power of the device since I have not seen some formula in datasheet, is that basically the Power= (Vout-Vin)*Iout?
