UCC256403: Doubt in sense circuit components

In the document PMP40766 what is the role of components R87,C42,D14,D16,D13,D15,R60,C40 in the voltage and current feedback circuit .??

Also in the document for driving the MOSFET the used value of gate resistance is 10 ohms .Since it is given in the UCC256403 data sheet that peak value of source current by HO and LO Pin is 0.6 A .With 10 ohms gate resistance and 12 V at HO,LO pin the HO and LO source current comes out to be 1.2 A . Is it possible to turn on the MOSFET using 10 ohms as gate resistance ?

Hi,

1. the components are used to have a soft-start function of output voltage or output current, but the circuit looked less effective during the CC mode startup debug.

2. I think your understanding is wrong, the capability of driver is 0.6A, it will charge Cgate of MOSFET to 12V, so when Rg is 10Ohm, the peak charging current is 0.6A but not 1.2A.
