Hello experts,
Our customer reported the below issue.
In the function test station, they tested 29 pcs of PCBA. 7 pcs of PCBA failed. They tested the U19(TPS24751RUVR). Vout had no voltage output. The normal voltage should be 12VDC. 12VDC input voltage was normal. The peripheral circuit was not overloaded. Suspected that U19 failed itself. They did A-B-A swap test verification and confirm U19 itself failed.
Here's the information they are providing:
1. Application: Telecom
2. Failure Detection: Production & Assembly/Functional Testing Stage
3. Functional Failure
4. A-B-A Swap conducted.
5. Item was used in a single location on the board
What would have caused the U19 pin to fail?
Regards
Shawn
