TL431: Accuracy

Is there a formula / app note that details how to calculate the absolute accuracy of the TL431? There are a number of parameters which mean the 0.5% Vref accuracy is a small part of the picture.

I'm using the TL431 as a shunt regulator and I'd like to calculate what the worst case max/min cathode voltage would be?

Like most regulators there are static-DC conditions like initial accuracy, drift over time and temperature, line and load regulation but then there are also transient-AC conditions like input and load transient, noise etc to consider. The actual output value will depend on frequency component of those transients. Let us know if the app note provides you what you need.
