Hi!

Which pin can turn on/off output from BQ24072/3/4/5/9 when using the battery and adapter together/only adapter/only battery?

nCE is charge enable, EN1/EN2 is input current limit configuration inputs, SYSOFF seems to control only battery power.

Is there anything that can control the output with one pin?

Hi,

For the BQ24073, it is only possible to disable the output through the STANDBY mode when in adapter only mode. With the device in STANDBY mode, the Q1 FET is off and Q2 is on, which will connect a battery to the output if one is present.

If you're using the BQ24075 or BQ24079, you can combine this with the SYSOFF pin which can disconnect the battery from the output. This would allow for OUTPUT on/off control in any mode.

There is no solution that controls the output with one pin.

In the case of BQ24072/3/4, the output cannot be controlled in all modes, and in the case of BQ24075/9, both EN+SYS should be used?
