We designed a power supply with battery and charge circuit using BQ24630RGER. We manufactured 20 devices for the first small serires (prototypes). Two BQ24630RGER broke down, the akku (one cell LiFePO4) has been deep discharged. The power supply for the BQ24630RGER could not deliver the short current. We use the BQ24630RGER now one year in the field, but two BQ24630RGER have failed in this time. We produce now the second series and want to know do we have a design error?
