Dear team

The customer's design is using non-isolated, directly use LM5005 to convert 12V,

1. Does it require opto-coupler?

2. Can T2P directly connected to the CPU?

    Hey Denny, 

    this is a great question. Since the design is not isolated, then it does not require the optocoupler. I would just ensure the sink and source currents are appropriate for the CPU and the TPS2378. I am not sure if we will need any sort of driver or logic circuit to make the currents appropriate since that is normally done across the optocoupler biasing.
