TPS929120-Q1: Output cap recommendation when paralleling channels

Part Number: TPS929120-Q1

Hi Team,

I know it is recommended to have output caps close to the IC OUT pins but when multiple channels are paralleled together is it still recommended for every channel to have it's own cap or can we also group together the caps

Let's take this design as an example:

There's a few things we can do:

- Each channel has it's own 1nF cap attached before they combine together

     -

- All four channels combine together and the combined plane has 4x1nF caps:

           -

- All four channels combine together and the combine plane has 1x4.7nF cap

           -

Let me know which of these options would be okay.

Best,

David
