Good evening.

We are simulating gate driver circuit with mosfet.

We are getting below error and suggestions.

"ERROR(ORPSIM-16550)Floating Point calculation failed during matrix calculation.Possible solution 1)Ensure that all device parameters are in valid range 2)Try using .Options LIMIT

INTERNAL ERROR-Overflow,Multiply

Run aborted"

Kindly suggest solution.

Our system hardware is as below,

Intel Core i7,8th generation 16GB RAM and 2GB Graphics card.

Is above configuration sufficient?

How can we solve above issue?

How to use option LIMIT?

Kindly suggest.

Hi Caliber,

For the record i am not a spice expert, but lets see if I can help with some debugging.

Firstly, what are you simulating? Can you please share your testbench files. The vast majority of issues we see arise with 3rd party models used in the tool.

My first suggestion would be to remove any 3rd party models and run the simulation again. If the overflow issue goes away then we have isolated the problem.
