Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMR50410
Hi all
My customer is pointing to a bug in Webench, namely that the design cannot be created for Vout=1V.
Please comment.
Best regards

Hi Ueli,
It looks like the selected input voltage range violated the minimum on time spec of the device (60ns).
LMR50410 would be a better option because its switching frequency is lower (700kHz) which means that it won't violate this spec at the desired operating conditions. Please have the customer give this device a try in Webench.

Thank you for the quick reply and understood ... my oversight.
With 2.1MHz switching frequency T= 0.476us and the duty cycle with Vin=16V and Vout=1V is 1/16 (ideal case, no losses), meaning ton=62.5us, this is too close to the typical value of 60ns.
I will recommend to use the LMR50410.
Best regards
Ueli
