LM5155: Whether it can be used with an Isolated Flyback

Hi support team,

I am looking for an isolated DC/DC converter with the following specifications.

<Required specifications>
・ Input voltage: 24V (typ) (preferably withstand voltage of max.40V)
・ Output power: 46W or more
・ Output voltage: 54V
・ There is a control terminal that can turn the output on and off.
・ With output overcurrent protection

Is it feasible with the LM5155 Isolated Flyback?

Please let me know if you have a better product.

LM5155 can be used for this application.

Hello Dice-K,

LM5156 can be used on the same layout, so yes, this is a good replacement.

Is this transformer and LM5156 available for this application?

・Output power: 46W or more

Hello Dice-K,

Do you mean if you can use LM5156 and the transformer from Wuerth? LM5156 is a good device for this application and the transformer looks ok as well.

In general for the transformer, I would recommend to discuss with the transformer manufacturer.
