LM25149-Q1: About the PGOOD output of the secondary controller

Part Number: LM25149-Q1

Hi support team,

I have a question about PGOOD in dual-phase operation.

How does the secondary controller detect the correct output voltage and output the PGOOD signal?

Since the output voltage is set on the primary controller, I don't know how to detect the correct output voltage on the secondary controller.

  • Hi Kiyoshi,

The PGOOD is actually measured by the primary, and sent to the secondary by the duty cycle of the SYNCOUT. The secondary will read the SYNC duty cycle to decode PGOOD information.

Note the SYNC duty cycle does not affect the SW duty cycle.

    Hope this helps,
