Hi all
My customer is using the TPS16632 with Rlim=6K and disconnect works at ~3A ok. (24V, mode=no auto retry).
Running the circuit at 2.8A over several hours works fine.
However they find they cannot switch a load of 2.8A on or off using the shutdown pin.
They had to power down the circuit and reconnect the load.
On off switching at 2.7A works ok.
What could be wrong here ?

If there is no resistive load at startup, I could connect the load and 2.95A is fine.
If I switch /SHDN on/off load current has to be < ~2.8A.
There is no significant difference between auto retry and no retry.
All hardware is <30°C at startup, no long term tests.
