TPS61256C: inductor selection

Hi Team, 

can you make suggestions on the following customer request. I would say that TPS6124x fits better for this low currents: 

We wish to use TPS61256C in one of our new designs.

We need to convert a 3.3V voltage to 5V voltage, in order to power GNSS active Antenna.

The current consumption should be from around 5mA to 100mA.   

Can you approve that we can use this converter with very low current consumption, as low as 5 to 10mA typical.

Also, since this design is limited with board space can you please advise regarding the inductor.

We are looking for a small PCB footprint inductor that can work with this converter 0402 or 0201 size.

    For the inductor, TPS61256C is optimized for inductor value of 1uH. For the inductor part number, I would recommend customer goes to their passive component vendor (Like Murata, TDK or Coilcraft) for reference of 1uH inductor with ISAT>2.4A. Thanks!

    these inductors are all greater than 0402 or 0201 right?

    Is the TPS61256C suitable for the required output currents?.

    Yes, currently what I have seen the inductor size is larger than 0402 or 0201. To be honest the reason why we do not recommend inductor is we are not inductor vendor, and what we can say technically is the requirement of inductor specs to make sure the device is operating good under customer's circumstances.

    For customer's use case, it is ok to use TPS61256C in that condition, Vin is 3.3V and output is 5V/100mA. But the TPS61256C is maybe the way too much for them because this device can support up to 800mA output current for 3V3IN to 5.0Vout. If they focus more on solution size then TPS61256C is ok as it switching frequency is high.
