I have a question about overcurrent protection for the TPS40170.
Overcurrent protection compares the low-side FET voltage at the switch node (SW pin) with the LIM pin voltage.
Increases the fault count by 1 if the SW pin is greater than the voltage on the ILIM pin.
In this case, please tell me timing when the fault counted.
Below is the measured waveform of overcurrent protection.
Which is the SW pin Rise or fall for comparison with the ILIM voltage?
