UCC28050: Harmonic currents compliance with aeronautics standards

Could you tell me more about compliance with current harmonics standards BOEING DO160/F/or G section 16.7.1 and AIRBUS ABD0100.1.8.1/C section 6.2.1.4 (more constraining). In the past, i have designed PFC for aeronautics with UCC2818 (CCM mode) according to the same standards, test was compliance but margins was not too large. The cost is more attractive for UCC28050 but i want to be confident in this solution (BCM mode) before designing. Best regards

I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the aeronautics specifications. However, both the UCC2818 and UCC28050 easily meet the EN61000-3-2 harmonic specs and achieve a PF near unity. The UCC28050 being a transition mode (BCM mode) PFC turns on into zero current and therefore has no reverse recovery current in the body diode. While this has several key benefits, it also generally results in lower THD compared to the UCC3818.
