UCC21520: OUTA for low side Mos, OUTB for high side Mos

Hi team,

My customer is using UCC21520 for a high bridge driver application, OUTA for high side Mos, OUTB for low side Mos with boostrap circuit.

And here is layout signal cross in the PCB design, so they are wondering if we could directly change the set up as:

VoutA to low side driver, VSSA link to GND; VoutB to high side driver, VSSB link to switching node; boost trap work paired with OUTB channel.

If above setting is resonable? and any other point we need to change?

Hello Mia,

Thanks for reaching out.

Both channels of the UCC21520 are the same, so either channel can be the high side or low side driver.

The setup you described should work without problem.
